LSUHS offers a dynamic learning environment for over 1,000 students and 650 residents and fellows in three professional schools: the School of Allied Health Professions, School of Medicine, and School of Graduate Studies.
The School of Allied Health Professions features ten academic programs, three post-professional residency programs in physical therapy, and a doctoral internship program in health service psychology. Additionally, three faculty practice clinics are housed within the School which serve as clinical education sites and laboratory teaching spaces for the students and residents in our rehabilitation science programs.
Our students benefit from a multidisciplinary culture, affordable tuition, small class sizes, and access to cutting-edge facilities like a cadaver lab and clinical simulations center. Additionally, our campus provides extensive student support services, including the medical library, writing consultants, learning specialists, counseling center, wellness programs, student life activities, ample study space, and a fitness center.
