EVALUATION PROCESS
The Children's Center provides interdisciplinary evaluations so that your child has the advantage of being assessed by professionals from the fields of pediatric medicine, psychology, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, audiology, marriage and family therapy, and education.
Autism Evaluation: The Children's Center faculty have been extensively trained in the administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Autism Diagnostic Inventory-Revised (ADI-R), which are considered the gold standard instruments aiding in the diagnostic of Autism Spectrum Disorder.
What happens during an evaluation?
Our evaluations are individualized to the needs of our families and patients. However, our families and patients can expect the following during the evaluation process.
