CARDIOVASCULAR TECHNOLOGY
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
What courses are included in the CVT Program?
The junior year is dedicated to invasive cardiovascular technology with didactic instruction in cardiovascular anatomy, angiographic equipment, radiation safety, and invasive cardiac catheterization procedures. Students will transition to noninvasive cardiovascular technology in their senior year with didactic instruction in two-dimensional, Doppler, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography as well as the analysis of cardiac ultrasound findings related to cardiac pathology.
