How do I apply?
Application: Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service
Deadline for complete CSDCAS applications: January 15, 2025
Classes begin: May 19, 2025
The LSU Health Shreveport Speech-Language Pathology Program accepts applications for admission via the Communication Sciences and Disorders Centralized Application Service (CSDCAS). Applicants should send all application materials (e.g., transcripts, GRE) directly to CSDCAS. Applicants should NOT send any application documents directly to the Speech-Language Pathology Program or LSU Health Shreveport.
Residents of AR and TX are eligible for in-state tuition rates!
What is the application process and timeline?
To complete an application for admission, send the following application materials via CSDCAS by the deadline.
Complete the CSDCAS Application. The deadline for complete CSDCAS applications (e-submitted, payment received, and all materials received) is January 15, 2025. It is the applicant's responsibility to monitor progress of the application and to make sure that it is completed by the due date.
- Send official transcripts from all college-level institutions ever attended (including high school dual enrollment) to CSDCAS. Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit transcripts to CSDCAS at least 4 weeks before the application deadline of January 15 to allow time for processing.

CSDCAS only accepts electronic transcripts from Credentials Solutions, Parchment, and National Student Clearinghouse. If your school does not offer either of these services, your transcript must be sent by mail.
Please read the Transcript FAQ’s before submitting your application. - Send official GRE test scores sent to CSDCAS at GRE code 2213.
- Three letters of reference completed by instructors or supervisors via the CSDCAS Evaluation portal.
- Upload resume to the Documents section of the CSDCAS application.
- Upload admissions essay to the Documents section of the CSDCAS application responding to following prompt: Reduction in funding can sometimes impact provision of clinical services. Write a letter to a legislator advocating for funding for speech-language pathology services.
Selected applicants will be contacted to arrange an interview.
