Attend an In-Person Information Session

Prospective students are invited to attend a faculty-led information session in which faculty will review the program admission requirements, curricular expectations, and answer any questions participants may have. For those who are interested, the session will be followed by a tour of the facility (clinical and academic areas). Occasionally, current students will be on hand to share a glimpse of their life as an OT student too.

Delivery format: In-person. To schedule a virtual information session, please email the OT Program Coordinator, Connie Perkins, at Connie.Perkins@lsuhs.edu

Location: 1450 Claiborne Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71103, School of Allied Health Building (see Parking Instructions below).

2025 Date(s): May 2, June 13, and August 15 at 1:00 PM.

RSVP to Ms. Connie Perkins, OT Program Coordinator, at connie.perkins@lsuhs.edu

Participants are encouraged to complete a prerequisite checklist prior to attending the information session. This will help applicants identify questions about specific courses intended to meet prerequisite requirements. See the Approved Pre-requisites Table for several Louisiana colleges and universities.
