LSUHS School of Allied Health Professions’ Doctor of Occupational Therapy program, the first of its kind in the state of Louisiana, has been granted accreditation for a period of seven years from the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE).

The Advocate - LSU Health Shreveport had 72 students take the exam, with a 100% passing rate. Physical Therapists must pass the NPTE in order to practice in the U.S.
